Grow deeper in faith through biblical discipleship & personal spiritual development
Join Our Next Discipleship Group
Our approach centers on creating followers of Christ who live out their faith with conviction and purpose. We believe every believer deserves access to solid biblical teaching, personal mentorship, and practical tools for spiritual maturity.
Scripture calls every believer to make disciples who make disciples. Our programs follow the model Jesus established with His twelve apostles – intimate relationships built on trust, accountability, and shared commitment to God’s Word. We study the Bible systematically, ensuring participants understand both foundational doctrines and practical applications for daily living.
Our discipleship curriculum covers essential topics including prayer, Bible study methods, evangelism, stewardship, and Christian character development. Each lesson connects biblical truth to real-life situations, helping participants develop the skills needed to thrive spiritually in any circumstance.
Small group settings allow for personal attention and meaningful relationships to develop. Groups typically consist of six to eight participants, creating an environment where everyone can share freely and receive individual guidance. This intimate setting encourages vulnerability and authentic growth among members.
Experienced believers serve as mentors throughout the discipleship process. These mentors have walked with Christ for years and demonstrate the qualities we seek to develop in new disciples. They provide guidance, encouragement, and accountability as participants work through personal challenges and spiritual growth areas.
Our mentorship program pairs each participant with a mature believer who commits to walking alongside them for the duration of their discipleship experience. Mentors meet regularly with their mentees for coffee, prayer, and honest conversation about spiritual progress and life challenges.
Accountability partnerships form naturally within discipleship groups. Participants encourage one another in areas like consistent prayer, Bible reading, witnessing opportunities, and personal holiness. These relationships often continue long after formal discipleship training concludes, creating lasting bonds that strengthen the entire church community.
Discipleship extends beyond personal growth to include training for active ministry participation. We equip believers with practical skills they need to serve effectively in their calling, whether that involves teaching, counseling, evangelism, or administrative support.
Training modules cover various ministry areas including children’s ministry, hospital visitation, homeless outreach, and new member integration. Participants discover their spiritual gifts and learn to operate confidently in those areas of strength and passion.
Hands-on experience accompanies classroom instruction. Discipleship participants join experienced ministry teams to observe and gradually take on increasing responsibility. This apprenticeship model ensures they gain confidence through guided practice rather than being thrown into ministry situations unprepared.
Every aspect of our discipleship program emphasizes practical application in daily life. We address common challenges believers face in areas like marriage, parenting, workplace ethics, financial management, and personal relationships. Biblical principles become tools for making wise decisions and handling difficult situations.
Case studies drawn from real-life situations help participants think through how their faith applies in specific circumstances. Role-playing exercises prepare them to share their faith naturally in conversations with non-believers. Problem-solving sessions teach them to seek God’s wisdom when facing personal crises or major decisions.
Regular testimony times allow participants to share how God has worked in their lives since beginning the discipleship process. These testimonies encourage others and demonstrate the practical benefits of spiritual growth and obedience to God’s Word.
Consistent spiritual practices form the backbone of lasting spiritual growth. Our discipleship program helps participants establish and maintain healthy spiritual disciplines that will sustain them throughout their Christian walk.
Prayer instruction covers various prayer methods including intercession, meditation, petition, and thanksgiving. Participants learn to develop consistent prayer times and discover approaches that work best for their personality and schedule. Group prayer sessions provide practice in corporate prayer and build confidence in verbal prayer.
Bible study skills receive significant attention throughout the discipleship process. Participants learn different study methods, how to use study tools effectively, and approaches for personal devotional time. They practice interpreting Scripture correctly and applying biblical principles to current situations.
Fasting, meditation, journaling, and Scripture memorization round out the spiritual disciplines training. Each participant identifies which disciplines resonate most strongly with them and develops a personal plan for incorporating these practices into their routine.
Discipleship participants become actively involved in the broader church community during their training period. They attend corporate worship services, participate in ministry activities, and build relationships with other believers beyond their small group.
Service opportunities help participants discover their spiritual gifts and find their place within the body of Christ. They may volunteer in children’s ministry, help with special events, participate in outreach activities, or assist with administrative needs based on their interests and abilities.
Fellowship activities strengthen relationships and create a sense of belonging within the church family. Regular social gatherings, shared meals, and recreational activities help participants develop lasting friendships and feel connected to the ministry community.
Our discipleship program serves as the foundation for future leadership development. Participants who demonstrate spiritual maturity, faithfulness, and leadership capacity receive invitations to join advanced training programs.
Some graduates become small group leaders, facilitating new discipleship groups under supervision from experienced leaders. Others move into specialized ministry roles based on their gifts and calling. The goal is developing mature believers who can multiply themselves by discipling others.
Ongoing support and training continue for those who transition into leadership roles. Monthly leadership meetings provide encouragement, additional training, and opportunities to share challenges and successes with other ministry leaders.
New participants can join discipleship groups at various times throughout the year. We offer both daytime and evening options to accommodate different schedules. Groups meet weekly for approximately twelve weeks, with optional advanced training available for those who desire continued growth.
